What is Distributed Audio or Multi-Room Audio?
Well, in the simplest of terms it is audio that is sent to one or more locations from a single source point. This means that you can have a CD playing in multiple rooms of your home or a CD playing in one room and the radio in another.
The volume in each location can be controlled through a volume control switch in each speaker location or can be controlled by a speaker selector. This can be done manually or sometimes through a remote.
In an ABUS Distributed Audio System you can control the device from any room with
an infrared volume control.
